Hotel Faubourg Montreal Centre-Ville Downtown

I stayed at the Hôtel Faubourg Montréal for the 2026 Formula 1 Canadian Grand Prix so I can't evaluate the value because it was extremely overpriced for the race weekend as were all hotels in the area. The rooms had a European charm but were a bit dark because the walls are gray. I also couldn't find any way to adjust the temperature and it was rather warm. The room and the bathroom were clean but the tiles on the bathroom floor looked very old and the toilet ran constantly as if it didn't shut off when full. I was very surprised to have a nice kitchenette with a full size refrigerator and counter with seats. If you are planning to stay in Montréal for a week and cook or warm up some meals this would be a good place to do it. It also has a small balcony but there wasn't a chair on it so you couldn't sit out there. The complimentary breakfast had a nice assortment of coffee, juice, bagels, eggs, home fries, sausage, and yogurt, but it did not have waffles, pancakes, or bacon. Everything was very clean and there were lots of seats to relax and enjoy breakfast. It was a short walk to the metro and we even walked down to old Montréal one evening so I would say that it's perfectly central located to tour around on foot. They even had an indoor garage which is only accessible by room key so it felt safe. This also gave us a place to keep our car while we attended the Grand Prix race, which is only accessible by metro. Overall I guess the bottom line is would I stay there again and the answer is, "yes, I would". It was nice enough, the staff was very friendly and helpful and if I was going to the Grand Prix again next year or even to visit Montréal with the family, I would certainly consider the Hôtel Faubourg for accommodations.

Le petit déjeuner vraiment pas terrible. Pas de viennoiseries, pain de mie pas frais et horaire un peu juste ( 9h30 est trop tôt pour une fin de service).

Accueil chaleureux

Hôtel bien placé, propre avec du personnel accessible et compréhensif. J'ai particulièrement apprécié pouvoir laisser mes valises avant de pouvoir récupérer ma chambre.

Pas grand chose, l'hôtel est sympa. Un peu vieillissant mais rien de gênant

The staff is very friendly and kind. The room we stay was big with lots of space for luggage. The room was also clean and the breakfast was good too. The hotel is well located with parking underground, which turns the stay easy for walk around the Old city and downtown.
