Claremore Motor Inn

Room was fair size, and clean. Rather aging. Motel is on the edge of town, but on the main drag and it's easy to drive into town in a few minutes. There isn't a big choice of motels in Claremore, and this one is pretty good value.

I booked the room and paid a week in advance. Showed up at 2am, it was freezing, 32° and he wouldn't allow me in the lobby. I speed him my reservation on my phone and he still tried to charge me again for the room. I stood out in the cold for 30 minutes arguing that I had already paid, I was cold, along him to please let me in. A total mess! Then the breakfast they provide is from 7am-8am.they wine even leave coffee onext after that.

We are actually here due to being homeless. Very friendly staff. Wish they had a reasonable weekly rate for homeless family. Other than that it's a comfortable place to stay.

I made a reservation for Rocklahoma weekend and everything was good. Well I called tonight to cancel cause we can't go anymore. I called and asked to cancel my reservation he told me that he would cancel it then hung up on me. I had to call back 4 times cause I kept getting hung up on cause he kept saying "take my word for it I cancelled it" and "if you don't trust me you won't trust anyone in the world" all I wanted was a cancellation number. He was the rudest person I have ever talked to that is supposed to have good customer service. I've worked in hotels before and this is no way to treat people. Worst customer service I've ever experienced. I would never even think to stay here again.

The hotel was clean. It looked very nice from outside to in. The room was a good size and had all the facilities we needed. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. Breakfast was in the lobby 6am till 9am, but I went down at 6.15am and the door was locked. When I returned later I was met by the same person who checked me in, he was wearing his PJ's. He wasn't pleasant at check-in and the same the next morning. The accommodation was fine for what we paid, but the atmosphere was unfriendly. We stayed here so we could go to the bluegrass and chili festival, but a little tip, when we got there we discovered there was no taxi cab service and no public transport, so driving was the only option. The festival was fab.

Motel looked very nice from the street. Reception staff not very helpful. TV did not work, so we had to get the staff to come & sort it out for us. There were no coffee facilities in the room. The breakfast was very basic.

It was late evening when I arrived with my dog to enquire about a room. The desk clerk was glaring at me as if he were mad at my being there. I asked his rates for one person traveling with a dog. Mercy... he STILL acts angry!!! The rate he quoted for this old motel was EXACTLY the same as the brand new LaQuinta at the other end of town. With my dog. $65. I opted for the brand new and beautiful LaQuinta. Another thing... the new motel clerks were friendly, spoke English were glad to see me. The rooms were beautiful... no comparison. The Motor Inn better clean up their act, replace the angry old man at the front desk (I'm 71 years old so I KNOW what I'm saying), adjust their rates and get a facelift or they'll be out of business. I'll rate the rooms average because I didn't see them... the rude desk clerk pretty well showed me everything I needed to see while in the lobby.

Front desk help had NO personality. Not even certain he could speak English.... I hate that! But he did give us room with a place right in front of it to park our motorcycle. The room appeared clean. The bath linens were thin, rough and sparsely stocked. We did appreciate the full leather recliner. The bed was comfortable. When we asked for extra pillows, we are pretty certain they took them from another room. The room smelled stale. The carpet was filthy. You could not go barefoot with out having to wash your feet. Your socks will be stained. We would not stay there again. The room was over $60. Not worth it. You can find better for that money.

Comfortable stay. Basic motel along route66. My room was a good size with a king bed. Bathroom is smallish but functional.Near road & rail line however traffic noise was not noticeable within the room. Dining options are in town about 5 minute drive. Reception staff were helpful. Free breakfast is only pastry & coffee which you collect near reception & take back to your room. A morning starter. Overall happy with the stay

We stayed here on our Route 66 jaunt. Yes this hotel is on Route 66 but that is about as far as the nostalgia goes. The rooms were a reasonable size and clean, free wifi was a good speed and free car parking. A few miles away from decent food places. The breakfast was terrible, just a few sweet (stale) pastries and coffee. When we checked out at 8.30am the owner came out to the reception in his pajamas!!! Was quite decent for the price paid.
