Mbuyuni Beach Village - Bungalows

Mbuyuni Beach Village is beautifully situated in the green. The complex is an oasis to relax and the accommodation is very well maintained and the pool invites you to relax. The breakfast consists of fresh fruit, toast, egg of your choice and a delicious fresh fruit juice. It is located between Paje and Jambiani, so especially in the evening when it is dark you are dependent on a means of transport, which can be organized by the hotel. The bungalows are very large and spacious. We had a very nice and relaxing stay. We would come back anytime.

Just a small recommendation but it's only my taste. The rooms are nice and big it could need a little bit more decoration like pictures at the wall. But just a small thing.

The location was lovely, the staff were friendly and helpful and the food was good.

Breakfast was more than adequate, nice to have french press coffee.

Excellent location

A really nice property right on the beach. The room was simple but the fan was sufficient to keep it cool. The restaurant offers lots of food choices and there was always a vegetarian option available for us. The pool is quite nice and has lots of shaded areas to sit in around it. The property never felt crowded and you could always find a quiet place to relax and enjoy the view. The property isn't " close" to either village ( Jambiani or Paje) so it is quieter, but it also means that if you do want to go to town, it's about a 40 minute walk. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend!

Breakfast is appreciated, but offering a little variety ( even just 2 options to select from) would be a nice addition!

Good location with super nice people.

No way to get the nice ocean breeze into the room, so the room was unnecessarily hot.

The food was amazing and the breakfast had lots of fresh fruit and juice every morning. The location was perfect, views of the beach everywhere. The pool was a nice bonus. They have very nice seats along the beach to rest and relax in, either in the shade or in the sun. I would highly recommend this place as a relaxing, quiet, and great costumer service spot. The staff were wonderful.

Breakfast was disappointing - no choice at all.

A lot of wasps in the restaurant at breakfast time. WiFi only in restaurant. Frequent, prolonged power cuts with no back-up generator. No aircon in rooms so during power cuts ceiling fans don’t work. Staff were a bit surly.

Mbuyuni has amazing grounds. We enjoyed having places to relax by the ocean including beds by the beach in a cove. It’s a very comfortable environment day and night to relax. And then they feed you😀….I loved my time. The food had me eating 3 meals a day. The service from the team was very well coordinated. The staff I liked as they made for such a calm peaceful atmosphere. I didn’t have to chase for anything. Their service was on point. The location is away from the populated beaches so I cannot wait to come back be it to stay or for food and a calm relaxing afterboon. Thanks for making my stay memorable. I’ll be back.
