Park Hotel Napoleone

Excellent hotel

We were two families and booked our stay for one night only . The hotel is secluded and accordingly quiet except for the natural sounds of nature/animals. It looks good from the outside and is, as the name suggests, nestled in a park. The building looked a bit abandoned, but then turned out to be quite a special building from the 60s, worth seeing, with marble floors and stylistically untouched dining room and bar. The simple, clean rooms had good beds, flatscreen TVs and small but clean bathrooms. However, one room entrance had pigeon droppings on the carpet and the walls were dirty from infiltration as the room was unfortunately directly under the pigeon loft. The breakfast is ok for Italian standards, nevertheless it is not a breakfast you would expect from a 4 star hotel. The buffet was served to us on the veranda by the very attentive and caring staff, with sufficient choice (with a fine cappuccino). There are enough parking spaces at the Park Hotel Napoleon. The shopping facilities are about 1 km away. One is dependent on the car, especially if one wants to do something in the evening. On the whole, the Napoleon is a difficult hotel to rate, because the photos on the website did not correspond to what we expected. In any case, it did not deserve the four stars, even though the past is presented very nicely in this hotel. When did Napoleon actually die? We cannot recommend the hotel as we stayed there.

L'edificio e' di notevole pregio architettonico, ma la costruzione e' vetusta e necessiterebbe maggiore manutenzione, specie in alcune parti della piscina. Non ci sono alcune comodita' tipiche di hotel simili, ad esempio terrazzi, ascensore al piano (e' necessario salire alcuni gradini per accedervi) ecc. Posizione ottima per la tranquillita' e la possibilita' di accedere (in auto) a tutte le localita' dell'isola. La villa Napoleonica e' a fianco dell'edificio.

Camere polverose con un odore terrificante delle fognature, moquette macchiata con chiazze ovunque. 4 stelle fu credo 100 anni fa . Struttura con delle bellissime potenzialità, ma adesso è totalmente lasciata andare . Peccato perché è in una posizione strategica ed ha posto sia macchina e per ombrellone alla biodola che è un valore aggiunto. Sanificate e ristrutturazione totale

Posizione perfetta,servizio efficiente, personale gentile

Dalle foto pubblicate le aspettative erano altre, la struttura è in degrado ( si è staccato il bidet dal muro allagando la stanza) zero igiene e sporco ovunque. La colazione pessima avevano il tostapane rotto e servivano le fette biscottate tutte sbriciolate. La piscina piccola sembra uno stagno…con l’acqua verde e sporca. Come albergo a quattro stelle ve lo sconsiglio vivamente.

Hotel magnifique mais qui se délabre fortement. Moquettes tachées dans les hall, liner de la piscine qui se décolle absolument de partout. Le parc n'est pas entretenu à la hauteur de ce qu'il devrait l'être. Néanmoins, le lit est confortable et le petit déjeuner très complet. L'hotel est situé juste à côté (50m) de la maison d'été de Napoléon. Le personnel est globalement agréable.

L'atmosfera, un silenzio claustrale, la natura... il verde si è circondati dal verde. È un luogo magico.

Mysigt slott ute på toscanska landsbygden. Poolområden var fin, rummen var bra och miljön var helt fantastisk och romantisk. Middagen som man kan köpa extra för 35 euro, är starkt rekommenderat. Kändes som man bodde under 1800-talet granne med Napoleon. Dock kunde personalen inte engelska eller de andra språken som hotellet lovar. Så va redo att leva lite "Lost in translation". Annars är allt hyfsat.
