Vista Bahia Vacation Rental

We stayed here for 2 nights as it was close to the airport (30 min taxi ride) but still close to the beach. This hotel is steps away from playa panama which was amazing. absolutely deserted the day we spent on the beach so really beautiful. The hotel is a bit of a drive from playa el coco (bars and restaurants) but if you have your own vehicle its less than 10 min. All in all a very nice place with very firendly and helpfull staff. Would definetly stay again.

Great service! Great location! If you visit this place you will need at least 2 days to really enjoy. Quiet hotel and many birds and lezards.

We got to the hotel and got received by a family of monkeys over our nierby tree tops, pretty cool, and the room was enormous, also the restaurant was excelent as nothing else as of restaurants is close by. Beach is pretty bad, and water was full of dirt from the tide, but you can go to several beaches along the coast line. Our favorites where Flamingo and Ocotal

The staffs are nice. The room is big. The location is so quite including beach. It is good resort for families. It is ever better if they can offer more options in their restaurant.

Very nice large condo unit with nice grounds secluded away from the crazy beach bar scene! Good place for couples & young families!

We enjoyed very much our stay at the hotel. Breakfast was very good. The hotel location is nice, it is quiet but at the same time you can move to the neighborhood fast and easy. Some of the units need outdoor maintenance. Our kitchinette was not completely equipped but all we asked for we got it right away. We were three and the room was prepared for 2. Things easy to handle. I would have enjoyed a lot a bigger swimming pool probably located in another section of the property.

The hotel has huge rooms with amazing view of the Papagayo gulf, since the rooms are so big there is a problem with the A\C and it doesn't seem to cool the entire area, the bedding is quite small (double sized beds) are quite uncomfortable, our A\C unit broke and the hotel quickly changed our room, but in both beds me and my partner good back aches by three am. Is at a walking distance to a small beach area which is lovely.

Great place to relax and get away, but close enought to taxi into town for the casino or dinner. Staff were excellent and the room was incredible. Make sure you call the hotel to get a taxi from the airport or you'll pay double.

Unique natural terrain with a family of howler monkeys and other wildlife on the premises. Very hilly but nice trails to 2 beaches, If you are physically disabled getting around the premises can be very challenging with the steep hills an gravel paths. This is a little off the beaten path so you are not walking distance to anything else. The bar is lightly stocked and they can use a bigger selection of drinks but the staff is nice. If you want to get away in a private secluded resort, this is the place. If you seek action, activity and the need to be constantly stimulated, this is not the place for you. Staff is nice, helpful, friendly and its a very good bang for the buck. $50 from Liberia airport to premises. Most of the excursions will take several hours each way so plan for a very long day from this location.

We stayed one night then went on a driving tour of the lake Arenal area for a few days. We were staying at another hotel in Brasilito and didn't like it so we checked out early and returned to the Vista Bahia for two more days. We like this hotel very much. Large rooms with great views. You have to be in good shape to climb the hills to get to and from the beach but the privacy is worth it. The staff is outstanding. They are working on remodeling so it will get better. There were monkeys and Iguanas right outside our room. If you like a quiet, relaxing stay this is it. The rates are reasonable and it is just a short drive to everything you need.
