The Alphen Boutique Hotel & Spa

Breakfast was excellent, great choice, excellent quality. The pool area was lovely - comfortable, clean with helpful service on hand at all times. Facilities and comfort level of our room and at the hotel in general was first class and the well trained, helpful and professional staff throughout were a highlight

The only downside was that we asked the hotel to arrange drivers for us for various trips which they did no problem however the quality of that transport was not up to the same standard as everything else.

Very nice stay, rooms perfect and service exceptional. Breakfast times were busy due to number of non-hotel guest diners. A close by road made the ambience slightly less idyllic than imagined when sat outside. Other than that, would return.

Loved our stay here. Incredibly spacious and comfortable rooms and the biggest bed we’ve seen in a hotel. Lovely pool area and good choice of restaurants within the restaurant. 10/10

Breakfast was very good people were nice room was large clean and great value for money the spa was good too I throughly recommend this hotel

All good apart from you could here traffic road noise when out side

The hospitality is fabulous, the food is delightful, the pool is brilliant, the atmosphere is perfect. I wish I could live here.

really too expensive for what it is. Wifi wasnt working most of the time, staff was very slow and disorganized (very sweet and lovely though). Across the days I was there their printing and invoicing system was out, dirty towel which was on the bathroom floor was placed back on the rack. All in all it's a nice place but to pay EUR 500 a night is really not where this place should be. We're in south africa things are always a bit chaotic that's why we love it but you cant compare it to other places where you pay 500 bucks a night. My price indication would be somewhere halfway that

This is an outstanding property. Breakfast, and indeed all the food outlets, are excellent and the service standards are outstanding. The SPA is highly recommended. This is a must stay to add to your list.

Access to the pool area.

Comfortable bed and spacious room. Good spa treatment - massage therapist was great.

Service is very slow with little staffing by the pool which meant sunbeds were untidy, pool towels were not refreshed. Disappointing breakfast quality. Water pressure in the bathroom was inconsistent.
