Location very good, grounds and gardens very beautiful. Buildings and decor very lovely. Altogether an very good but too short stay. Restaurant service, wine and food really very good. Beautiful decor and rooms.

Check in was not bad, but not quite as good as I expected.

My now fiancé and I stayed at the Alphen for 3 nights and couldn’t have been happier. The room was incredibly spacious, clean and beautifully done. We’re a couple that doesn’t like to go to the same place twice but the restaurants on property were so great we barely left. Choose the Alphen for your stay.

"Relaxing weekend away"

Our 2 night stay at The Alphen coincided with the Cape Cycle Tour. The hotel accommodated our bicycles and made us a take away breakfast for the very early Sunday morning start, much appreciated. A beautiful facility, with great service and tasty food.

We have been here now several times already. It is always great to come back as it's the perfect place to relax. Rooms are very comfortable and the whole staff is competent and friendly.
