Chipeta Lodge

We had a superb time. From Madison at the front desk, to our own private hot tub, to the delicious breakfast, to our comfortable bed- it was all fabulous!

Unique lodge, excellent breakfast (included), sat on outdoor terrace - just lovely 😊

We only had one night here but it was amazing! The staff were so accommodating-we arrived a little early and we checked in no problem.

Spacious room, great amenities.

Great location. The restaurant food was really good. The room with a privacy patio included a hot tub looking out to beautiful mountains. The staff was very nice and friendly. I enjoyed the romantic gateway with my husband.

The room was nice. The view was nice. All other things considering, people kept mentioning that they were just coming off a remodel. So the pools were closed. Thankfully, we had a hot tub in the room. The spa was ridiculously overpriced. So we went down the street for massages. The one thing that was included was breakfast. We were the only people in the restaurant, again mentioning that they were coming off a remodel. Maybe that was their excuse for everything. I had asked for a shot of Kahlúa for my coffee and of course they didn’t have any. The bloody Mary was weak. The waitress kept making excuses because they were not set up to serve and she kept having to go downstairs to another building to get glasses or limes or whatever. The breakfast was cold and bland. The poached eggs came in a little cup of their own water. When we asked about butter for the cold toast, it was served frozen. I probably won’t ever return. There are better places to stay without the outrageous price tag that nothing comes with except the view.

we liked the parking, easy to get in an out. the location was quiet. loved the hot tub on the balcony. room was nice and cozy.

when we scheduled we didn't have any notice that the restaurant or pool were closed. that would have been a nice heads up. the breakfast was good but not much food was left, out of cups plates etc and we were there fairly early. the tables were dirty and pets were in the breakfast room.
