Loved everything about the property except the rooftop bar and restaurant not being open and the fireplace completely unavailable to turn on in the room, but it was there as a teaser. Thankfully I didn’t care much since it was summer, but I would hope these are back in commission for fall. Especially when it’s named the Kiva building, the fireplace should be available. Our own jacuzzi tub on the deck where we stayed was incredible to have. Loved that feature and option for the room and thought it was a reasonable price for how spacious the room was. The coffee in room was also local and delicious. Really appreciated the few extra details like the wine bottle opener provided. Glasses in room were dirty unfortunately and I had to wash them, but appreciated they were glass vs plastic. The pool and hot tubs were also awesome and a very relaxing place to soak up the sun or take a swim.

The rooftop bar being unavailable was probably the biggest disappointment when it has the best view of the mountains in the property and we would’ve purchased a few drinks up there. Or it should at least be open for folks to sit up there and enjoy the view as a lounge space.

The property was pretty nice. The main areas were in better shape than our room. The room.was a little dated and could use some tlc. Staffing shortages meant the bar and restraunts were not open which was part of the reason we chose this hotel. Staff was very nice. We had the one room with private hot tub and that was very nice, clean and great veiwing of the stars.

It was a very nice stay until it wasn’t. We enjoyed pickleball and a lovely swim. Nice dinner at Gnar Tacos. Room 324 is a nicely decorated room with exposed large log supports and a lovely bed. However, we awoke in the middle of the night to a high pitched buzzing. We figured out it was the mini fridge. Unplugged and problem solved. Until it wasn’t. Later in the night and throughout the early morning a noisy machine kept starting up right beneath our room. The windows were open to enjoy the cool mountain air, so we closed them. Unfortunately it helped a bit but it was still quite loud, although relatively short. Hard to sleep well with a loud machine (on-demand water heater?) turning on repeatedly below us. Having paid almost $400 for the room, it was a sad disappointment for what was meant to be a healing trip after visiting our cabin that burned down in the Deer Creek fire in Old La Sal in Utah to meet with our insurance agent. The Front Desk seemed surprised to hear about the noise at check out the next morning, but kinda hard to imagine that they were totally unaware of such noise. A sad disappointing stay that wasn’t the restorative experience we had hoped for when booking.

Breakfast was delicious, the staff was really helpful and the pool and jacuzzies were great.

It was quite warm, there was no AC in the bedrooms but there were box fans which were very helpful.

Everything; the awesome pool, friendly staff, yummy breakfast, the view and beautiful grounds, comfy bed, playing pickleball for the first time with the rackets they provided, the coffee they had available all day, the peace and quiet... I love it here, you simultaneously feel you are at a luxury hotel and made to feel at home.
