We booked a studio suite and the description said it included a private hot tub. Upon arrival there was no private hot tub. We inquired at the front desk and they said the room we booked didn't have one. There were no other options for our stay according to the front desk. We probably would have looked for a different place to stay and saved some money had we known there was not a private hot tub. The room was clean and staff very pleasant. Just disappointed with no private hot tub.

It is a beautiful place to stay, but unfortunately I don’t as in a room directly under a rooftop hot tub. The hot tub filter and heater circulated ALL night VERY loudly and kept me awake ALL night. I was running a trail race on Ouray and I gave up at 5:30 and got up and made coffee. Didn’t need to wake up till 6:15, but I knew there was no point in falling asleep now that it was 5:30am. I’m extremely frustrated and would never recommend room 324 for this reason. Horrible noise!!

Our stay at the Chipeta Lodge Resort was restful from start to finish. The on-site White Buffalo restaurant offers a locally inspired, creative menu and was a highlight of our stay. Our room was exceptionally comfortable, with luxurious linens, high-end toiletries, and — best of all — a breathtaking view of the San Juan Mountains. We loved the thoughtful amenities, including complimentary use of mountain bikes and tennis & pickleball paddles for the courts next door. The hot tubs have unparalleled mountain views, and the pool is large enough for proper lap swimming, which we really appreciated. Evening on the rooftop bar was unforgettable — the sunset, the alpenglow, and the fiery colors lighting up the jagged “witches’ teeth” peaks created the most magical atmosphere. Every member of the staff was genuinely friendly, helpful, and accommodating, which made our stay feel extra special. And the warm, fresh-baked cookies at check-in were an unexpected treat that set the tone for the whole visit. We didn’t have time to try the spa services this trip, but we peeked in the brand-new facilities and they are stunning — we’ll definitely be booking treatments on our next stay at Chipeta Lodge!

We loved the hot tub on our balcony and the large room , which was comfortable and had a great view of the mountains. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was great and it was very good value for money. Would book here again.

Excellent hotel with extra amenities conveniently located near Ouray and Telluride. Amazing outdoor heated pool has been completed remodeled and is beautiful! Day spa has also been completely renovated and offers locally-made products. White Buffalo Restaurant + Bar is on property and has a delicious menu of appetizers, entrees and desserts. Service was excellent. Atmosphere was lively and friendly.

Absolutely AMAZING stay, beautiful location, clean rooms and fantastic facilities. Breakfast was so good-the burritos were awesome. The staff are beyond wonderful and SAVED me when I left a very important and expensive item behind - shipped it back to me no problem. Highly highly recommend!
