Nadi Bay Resort Hotel

The facilities are fairly priced and the service is excellent. If youre transitioning either on the way in, or way out, I would recommend a few days at Nadi Bay

No pick up from the airport. No apologies. Very run down overall. Room was minimal. Internet was free for only 1/2 hour per day but even that did not work AT ALL for the entire 4 days. There is a new manager who seems to be making attempts to improve.

We stayed overnight at the Fiji Gateway Hotel at the start & end of our 2-week Fiji trip in early Jan (F$184). The Gateway is literally a 5-min walk from the airport, 100 m to the traffic light then across the highway and you are there. It was very convenient when leaving the country, but isolated from amenities & less convenient when outbound via Yasawa Flyer or float plane. The hotel was a 2-floor complex with some buildings around the main pool (there are two, including a lobby pool with hot tub) & others around inner courtyard gardens. There was an open lobby, an adjacent restaurant (good F$20 daily specials) with inside and outside seating, & a couple of small bars (cocktails F$22-30; beer F$8). Our standard room (ground floor facing the back lawn) was large, with a queen bed, a double bed in an adjacent area separated by a partial wall (would be convenient for 2 couples on an overnight stay), a small “kitchen” area with mini-fridge (only 1 water bottle/day) & counter, and a covered patio (2nd floor rooms had a small deck). The furnishings were comfortable, there was a large clothes closet, and the bathroom was spacious with a nice shower. The grounds had a large pool with a surprisingly good water slide, tennis courts and exercise room (universal gym, treadmill, bike, & a water cooler to refill your water bottle). Free internet was was available in the lobby, or at a fee in your room. There were few amenities nearby: the airport for currency exchange or ATM's, an IGA grocery store 1.6 km to the left on the busy highway, and no other restaurants that we saw. The hotel also had a gift shop, but we found the same items at a cheaper price at the airport. The Fiji Gateway Hotel is a reasonable option for an overnight stay, especially at the end of your trip, with only one caution. When we booked, the hotel was aware of our early arrival (they specifically asked), so we assumed that they had a complimentary or low cost early check-in. Not – they attempted to charge 2 nights for our 1 night stay. So, either clarify before hand or be prepared to negotiate a much lower rate they way we did.

it was a good hotel and we enjoyed the stay as the swimming pools were a great restaurants and other shopping facilities were nearby

The hotel was disappointing the photos were obviously took a long time ago, it was very tired looking

Great location - access to supermarket, resturants, shops and public transport. Staff are friendly and facilities are good.

Close to shops and beach, easy access to transport and for short walks

We would have loved to use the pool more, unfortunately staff children were in the pool every day, so was not what we were expecting.
