Nadi Bay Resort Hotel

Promoted as a Resort but more like a backpackers hostel or lodgings. Needs refurbishment.

We stayed here for 8 nights and went to Mana island for 2. While we were away Parrot room #1 shower was not working so someone who is still unknown gave them OUR room key to use OUR bathroom as there were apparently no other free rooms available. We also asked for our room not to be cleaned on more then three different occasions and it was done every time! This is unacceptable as you DO NOT give a room key to ANYONE who is not staying nor paying for the room. When confronting the manager he did not want anything to do with us. Every time he said he would meet us he was conveniently on lunch. The second we mentioned trip advisor he gave us $200 FJD to keep is quiet I'm guessing. I am not happy as all we wanted is a refund for the accommodation and this is no where near what was stolen or what we paid for the room. We have filed a police report before leaving and followed this incident up with Wotif. Currently waiting on a call back after they contact the manager. It has been over a week now and he is still conveniently on lunch! Nothing but incompetency within this hotel! This hotel also has shared bathroom facilities use your brains!!! The lady who runs the bar is also very rude when you ask her for a drink because she has to get up. She also picked ants out of my orange juice before giving it to me.

We stayed one night before going out to the Yasawa islands and it was ok. Boring but clean room. We didn't have a bathroom in the room but shared toilet and shower were both clean. Close to restaurants. The breakfast was a joke though.

Nadi Bay is not a luxury resort, it’s not meant to be, but it is clean, well serviced, multiple choice of room levels, from single guest rooms, dorms, rooms with kitchettes and apartments. A short term stayer that is close to the Airport and Denaurae port. It’s a good transit choice. And the staff are very Fiji Friendly.

For the price paid for 4 of us I was very impressed with this property. It looks a little run down but the room was clean and spacious. Our day by the pool was perfect for the kids and as always the Fijian staff were wonderful.

Upon arrival it was the most extravagant building I had ever laid eyes on. It seemed like the whole group stopped and stared in silence, though the silence was broken to further admire the once in a lifetime view of the Nadi Bay Resort Hotel and Spa. I wouldn’t say that this resort is analogous to the Northern greenhouse because they both possess unique beauty. I most appreciated the beachfront accommodation, as the beach was only a brief 30 minute walk. As Billy Joel’s piano sounded like a carnival, our room sounded like a zoo, as three of the guys snored throughout the night. If I were to take my family to Fiji, there is not doubt in my mind that I would take them here, to the World Class Nadi Bay Resort Hotel and Spa.

Stayed one night in room 21b. The whole room was so dirty that after touching something the dirt was sticking on my hand. Furniture completely outdated. Common bathroom was clean. Hotel room was not expensive but cleaning one in a while would be nice.

We were in a family/1 bdr apartment and it was quite dark as the living area only opened to an outside corridor. The main bedroom had a window that didn't open that made the room feel a bit claustrophobic. It was basic facilities for a 1 night stopover before flying out, for this time it was fine but wouldn't stay longer. Having said that, some of the other room types we walked past looked a bit more light and airy so might be better and the pool area was quite nice As it does have a lot of backpackers and younger travellers, it was a bit noisy in the evening but it quietened down at a reasonable hour so didn't affect our sleep. Brekky basic but adequate enough.
