"One thing after another"

We ran into a few challenges at this hotel: It was 55 degrees when we came into the room, thermostat controls obscure. Couldn't call the front desk about it because the phone was dead. Found a dirty washcloth behind the towels. Only 1 coffee cup next to coffee maker but several lids, no water cups. Bathroom door wouldn't stay closed. No bathroom fan. Sink backed up. Pancake maker was not working at breakfast, although someone looked like she was trying to fix it.

"TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE HERE!!!"

Worst hotel experience ever. Our reservation was through Booking.com. Had to cancel first reservation, but made a second one day later checkin. Hotel wanted to charge us a "no show" charge, saying they never received cancellation from Booking com (I have copy of it on my phone). Hotel refused to work with us, only cared about dinging us. Night check in supervisor was completely rude, unprofessional, and showed no interest in helping us. Certainly will never stay here and my recommendation to you is to go to the Hampton Inn up the road on Hwy 13, they were very accommodating.
