The shower was fantastic. Quiet room. Pleasant front desk staff. I did not try breakfast.

The bed is very high for a person 5 ft tall. Very comfortable once I was in bed.

It was quiet and the breakfast was good.

The gentleman checking us in wasn't very helpful. There were King rooms available, but not cleaned. We said that was fine; we could go and eat and come back for the King room. He had no idea how long that would be. I asked if he could check; he said he couldn't do that. So, we got a double queen, which was okay, but not what we wanted. Since I'm a member, I thought he would at least try to help us. Most Holiday Inn Express hotels go out of their way to make their customers happy.

the man who checked us in was very rude and very short with us. he was having a bad day. maybe he should have stayed home, instead of making Holiday Inn look bad

Location and the lady who was working at time of check in would have been on Monday afternoon between 2pm-4pm ( possibly a Manager) was Amazing!!!

Only that I wasn’t able too stay longer!

"Great room but the worst check-in experience ever"

The room was very clean with updated decor. All liquid soap and shampoo/conditioner in bathroom had quality products and were full. Shower was well maintained with no mold. I liked the recliner/chair in room that had a small writing desk attached.

I arrived around 10:30. The night manager at the front desk required a credit card for incidentals so I gave him a credit card. That one “failed” per the computer screen at the front desk. I handed him 3 more different cards and each one gave him the same message. As a female traveling alone, I started to panic and checked all my credit card apps. All my accounts were in good standing as I already knew and there were no declined charges on any of my cards. One of my cards showed that the hotel charged me $20 then immediately refunded it. I showed him this and he said it didn’t matter because it was not showing on the computer. I had entered in one of my credit cards manually on the card reader and while it said failed on his computer I confirmed with that credit card via a representative over the phone that this charge was listed as pending both in her system on my app on speaker phone with the front desk. The manager still insisted it was not their system. I then drove across the street and purchased gas with that same card then came back with the receipt. He still would not acknowledge it was their system. At this point about 45 minutes had passed trying to get me room that I had already paid for in advance. He offered to use his own credit card which I didn’t feel comfortable doing but at that point I had no choice. His card went through. The next morning at checkout I was asked how my stay was. I explained that the room was great but that the check in process was a nightmare. She looked at the system when I explained about all the credit cards that did not go through. Her eyes got big and saw that each attempt on each card had went through and was listed on the hotel system as pending. I was not surprised. I explained that the night manager needed to admit that it was his system rather than insist that it was ALL my cards. I explained that he needed to understand and empathize with a female traveling alone and telling her none of her credit cards weren’t working

"A little creepy."

The staff was really nice. The breakfast was nice as well.

The room had so many bugs in it. They were on the ceiling, walls, and window pane. I told the lady at the front desk, so they were aware and she just made a comment that it was the season and normal. It may be normal for them, but not somewhere I would stay again.

Easy to get on and off the freeway. Starbucks and Hardee's right in front of the hotel. Cracker Barrel restaurant nearby. Staff were very courteous. Enjoyed the free hot cocoa available ( tea and coffee were also there).

The toilet didn't flush as well as it could. I forgot to mention this to the front desk as I was leaving. It wasn't necessarily a problem for us, but it was a bit annoying.
