Hyatt Place Lake Mary/Orlando North

Beware: Hotel is doing renovations. Check it out before booking. Check in is in a hall. A little concerning and didn't feel safe. One elevator working and makes loud noise when it moved.

Breakfast ☹️

I stayed at this hotel chain with great experiences before, but this one was not good. I was expecting a great stay, but the hotel is under FULL RENOVATION, so there is no breakfast, only some bananas and bagels, coffee, and tea. I was calling for many hours to mention that I was arriving late, but no one answered the calls. The rooms are ok, as usual, but we have to spend another $170 in breakfast somewhere else, so definitely they need to be honest and place in the main page for everyone to see, there is no breakfast. The front desk was friendly.

Couldn’t agree more with the previous post. Hyatt should be embarrassed to have their name on this hotel. We ended up leaving early and sleeping at someone’s house instead. Rooms were dark and dingy. Clothes even left in the room from a prior guest - gross! There was no common space, just a makeshift desk in a back door. We looked at the free breakfast and walked out. Definitely avoid!

We arrived on 12/21/2025 and only received the email notification that afternoon at 1 pm that it was going through renovation. The whole lobby was not usable and the three nights we stayed there we all went through its backdoor with a depressive desk and visible unfiniahed tiles in the back. The pool was not usable. The phone was not usable. The wifi was not usable. To get to the "continental" breakfast, you had to get through dusty hallway. There was no hot items at the breakfast at all. I reached out to the online rep the night we arrives. The rep asked us to make a complaint to the manager. I left a written note to the manager that night. The next morning I saw the note on the desk. No one checked in with us. Today is the 24th. We checked out this morning and as of now, no one has reached out to us. We paid the full amount, not diacounted rate. This is not acceptable. The management seems to be a disaster. Avoid this hotel!
