Waiheke Waterfront Lodge

So charming and welcomming in all the ways possible. Great welcome at the ferry and such a peaceful location. Breakfast was a delight. Thank you Andy and Pip for making our stay in Waiheke so wonderful. .

Pip made a fantastic 2 course breakfast with yogurt, granola and fresh fruit followed by handmade fresh egg burritos with a special local Kiwi hot sauce. YUM!

I didn’t like having to leave.

We had an exceptional experience at the Waiheke Waterfront Lodge. Pip and Andy were terrific hosts. Pip was able to answer our questions before we arrived, and Andy met us at the ferry terminal and made arrival a breeze. The property is beautiful, and it is a very short walk (10-15min) to the main town on Waiheke. Pip’s breakfast was also terrific - don’t miss it. I’d recommend this property without hesitation, and we would gladly return!

Pip and Andy have got everything right… Good communication before we arrived with helpful welcome sheet and then when we arrived a lovely welcome and a a few tasty complimentary treats. The rooms and views are super and it is so quiet but just a 15 minute walk or short drive to the nearest restaurants and shops. The breakfast is a feast and fills you up until your evening meal and very well cooked and prepared by both. Pip suggested where we should go for our day trip and with her guidance we covered most of the island in 5 hours including olive oil and wine tasting whilst taking in beautiful scenery on our little road trip. She also suggested two restaurants which were excellent, without her help we wouldn’t have got so much out of it. The house is beautiful and clean and cannot be faulted but what makes this, is Pip and Andy, as you can tell they take real pride in what they do and it shows in every aspect. So overall not too shabby at all 😉

My wife and I have just returned from five nights at Waiheke Waterfront Lodge and greatly enjoyed our stay. Pip and Andy were exceptional hosts. Andy welcomed us by picking us up from the ferry port. Pip cooked delicious breakfasts with fresh fruit, yogurt and hot dishes, and provided excellent recommendations for our walks and restaurants. Our spacious room looked out to a bay and was more than fully equipped and stocked. The view and peaceful atmosphere provided the perfect escape. We explored Waiheke Island using the Lodge loan car, e-bikes, and by walking some of the well-posted trails. The Island is picturesque, the wineries are great (Mudbrick and Man O War were our favourites!) and the dinners we had at Oneroa, only a short walk away were delicious! Highly recommend staying at this superb lodge.

Look no further! Book your stay at the Waiheke Waterfront Lodge. Pip and Andy are the best hosts! From the delicious breakfasts to the exceptional accommodations, you will be pampered. The ability to rent their e-bikes and have Andy map out our tour around the island was an added bonus.

The hospitality was amazing, the breakfast was delicious, the facilities were second to none. We would 100% recommend staying.

My wife and I spent two nights with Andy & Pip at the lodge at the start of our New Zealand vacation. They were great hosts, picked us up at the ferry dock, helped guide us with local transportation options (take advantage of the bus system to the local wineries) and Pip provided a wonderful breakfast that was a highlight of our visit. The lodge is in a beautiful quiet area of Waiheke and convenient to beaches, restaurants and wineries. We couldn’t get over how serene the area is. Perfect place to stay after the long trip from the US.

We had two wonderful restful days here. Pip and Andy are generous hosts, from collecting us from the ferry, to cooking wonderful breakfasts and providing excellent recommendations for sight seeing, food and even for other places to see in NZ. Our room was spacious, looked out to shallow bay and was more than fully equipped and stocked. Spotlessly clean. We took the restaurant package with taxis provided to lovely restaurant 20 minutes away. The town of Oneroa is 15-20 minutes stroll from the lodge making dinner on night two also very easy. I could go on but suffice to say if you book here your expectations will be met and exceeded.
