The location

Linen was stained Towels were marked and looked dirty Food was disgusting and waitress stood at the door to the restaurant watching me eat was very strange Desk chair was so worn you could not sit on it I left and checked into a different hotel

"Different from the corporate hotels"

Decent hotel, not your normal corporate type. Room was spacious and on the ground floor, clean and comfortable. Not a huge amount of choice with the food in the evening when compared to other hotels we had stayed in our our tour. Staff friendly. Nice little bar area for a drink pre evening meal.

"pretty hotel."

very pretty hotel, small and cosy. breakfast was good and staff friendly

the hotel does need some updating and maintenance but the old style does suit its charm. about a 10 minute walk into the town, you need to consider this if you want to walk home during the dark.
