Le Grand Hôtel de l'Espérance

Room was totally fine. Staff was ok. Parking very easy. The room was very comfortable and clean.

The hotel was very clean and accommodating. It was very charming and you could tell the owners took much pride in their hotel. The breakfast which was extra, had a lot of variety, very good. Ate at the restaurant one night and the food was delicious. I would definitely stay again when visiting Lisieux!!!

Stayed 2 nights with my Mom to visit historical and religious sites of St Therese. Staff warm and welcoming and took time and great effort to make us comfortable. Restaurant located in hotel was excellent!! Rivaled the food we ate in Paris!! The hotel is charming with beautiful old world style that has been preserved. Would highly recommend. We stayed at multiple hotels on our journey through France and Italy and this was our favorite!!

Very pleasant over night stay

Warm and friendly staff. The ONLY downside is that it smells musty in the room and elevator. Would recommend it!!!!

the hotel is in a great location for seeing everything in Lisieux 5 Minute walk to the Basilica, the Carmel and the Cathedral of St Pierre. 15 minte walk to Le Buissonnetts. reasonable restaurant at the hotel or a number of very good restaurants nearby. There is an excellant patissiere one or two doors down. the only minor complaint I had was that my room had been recently painted and stillk had some paint fumes.

Excellent hotel, especially for someone who doesn't speak much french - like me!. The hotel is a very short distance from the basillica, carmel, st therese' home and the church she attended. Rooms are clean and of good size and food was also very good.

Well situated in the heart of Lisieux and close to all the religious places we wanted to visit. Staff were helpful when we had to book a further night due to a train strike. On the down site the room did smell a bit musty, but was OK after we opened the balcony door

This is a nice hotel with pleasant staff, and it was a very good deal for the money.

Clear, good breakfast. Wi-fi doesn't work in rooms.
