Plantation Bay a Real Resort with a Real Spa

The staff at Plantation Bay was incredibly nice and helpful. The facilities are clean, the restaurants are all great with great food and service.

ALERT! If a zero was possible to give, I would most definitely give it a zero but for the sake of giving a review I will be giving it a one. the reason why i chose this resort was for "KIDS/FAMILY FRIENDLY", but little do you know its not even kid friendly. Our kids were just playing with each other while having FUN, and they were not even being obnoxious! They made us continuously move some place else, just to keep the kids away. I don't understand what their problem is if this is a resort that WE PAYED FOR!Seems like this place is not a place to have fun but a, SILENCE RESORT/RETREAT PLACE. On top of that it is way overpriced, don't waste your time or your money! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! Especially to ALEXA (on duty manager) she has no ethics, she is very rude and does not know how to approach customers in a nice or considerate way. My family and I are educated people and we could have been approached in a better way. Our family never had a problem like this in any HOTEL OR RESORT! If you are looking for a place to stay to have fun or even relax for vacation in Cebu, DO NOT BOOK HERE! They are also very racists! They favor the foreigners than their own local people! The one star is only for their amenities, other than that they have too much restrictions. I understand that there should be restrictions, but here they were doing WAY too much!! It ruins your way trying to relax on vacation, BOOK SOME PLACE ELSE! we booked seven rooms for our family.

The breakfast buffet is good. The set up of lagoons is very beautiful and tropical. The beach needs a little cleaning , lots of sea weeds. They offer a lot of activities in the resort that you don’t need to go anywhere else. Convenient transportation within the resort giving you lots of ease and relaxed feeling from one restaurant to the other. It’s seems like the resort is an island within an island . I would definitely recommend and come back again to this resort 😊

We stayed here for a family vacay last Jan. family of 5 with 2 small children. When we first walked-in, no one acknowledged us, nobody greeted us and nobody offered help with our luggages. We just arrived from the airport direct flight from LAX. Everyone is tired and I just wanted a smooth check-in. But the lady in the front desk, not so friendly, not even smiling, gave me a hard time, fill-out more forms, more paper work, etc, which I assumed I already did since I booked through Expedia. Since there’s 5 of us with 2 minors, they wanted me get extra room. They strictly only allow 4 person/per room! They don’t take any exceptions! Now I have to book another room just because we have exceeded their limit per room. To make a long story short, even if I asked to speak with the manager and explain our situation, if they can make an exception because I have little kids, no manager was available to speak with us and no one accommodated us. No good customer service, no one helped us with our luggages and not handicapped friendly! No wheelchair accessible and ramps for us to use. We have to put our wheelchair back in the car. Not good! Place looks old but our family wanted to give it a try but this is how they treated us! No Thanks!

Excellent property. Lot of amenities. Free access to some wall climbing, archery, etc. The lagoon is wonderful. And the swim up bar.

This property has everything you need on site. The spa, food and activities were amazing. I suggest hiring a car and visiting the surrounding areas.

The pools at this resort are amazing the brooms are styled in the colonial period very nice just want to say thank you to plantation bay we had a great vacation

It’s sad they didn’t inform us that the only good restaurant Fiji is closed every Tuesday. We found out after we had our dinner Monday night. We ended up having to eat in our room on Tuesday night. Overall feeling is Not welcoming compared to Shangri-La which is an amazing hotel. There’s 2 of us. In the bathroom, the gave is 2 bath towels, 1 hand towel and one bath mat. No washcloths, toothbrushes, shower cap and each queen beds only have 2 tiny pillows. One thing good about them is the saltwater lagoon is open 24 hrs and they also have live music by the lagoon.
