"Fee issue"

This is the hotel we stay at regularly when we travel to Lima. We have always booked it through Hotels.com and never had an issue. The normal “incidentals fee” is $20 per night. This time, however, I was greeted with a $250 fee for one night because “Expedia customers keep damaging our rooms.” I was told the only way to avoid this is to book on Marriott’s website which costs more per night. Because of this, we will not be staying there again on our trip in January.
