Aspen Grand Hotel Houston

I really felt the pictures was false advertising. The area that the hotel was is was very run down and inside was no different. It’s very dark and gloomy. It definitely needs an upgrade. When I check in the worker at the front desk had to check on our room before he gave us keys. We arrived around 7pm so I didn’t understand why he had to check on a room that should have already been done. Very suspicious! The elevator smelled like urine really bad. When we got to our room the bathtub wasn’t cleaned. We asked for another room but they refused. The sheets had stains on them and we asked for new sheets but once again they didn’t want to change our sheets. Even the toilet was low to the ground. For Breakfast it was very disappointing. They only had cereal, bagels with no toppings for them. And waffle mix for the maker and that’s it. Next door to us they’re were a handful of kids that was making noise all night that I had to call the front desk to report them. You can tell they lived there and no adults was in the room. You can tell the front desk knew them. When we asked for a late check out they advertise on their website that it’s 2pm but they only gave it to us till 1pm for the housekeepers to clean but the way I see it our room wasn’t clean when we got there. Overall it was a horrible experience and I will never stay here again.

Une chambre qui n’avait pas été nettoyée avant notre arrivée. Les draps étaient jonchés de cheveux et d’un chewing-gum sèché. Nous avons demandé des nouveaux draps, que nous avons changé nous même La poubelle de la chambre n’était pas vidée. La moquette était collante à un endroit. En marchant pieds nus, on pouvait sentir les miettes des autres voyageurs avant nous. Une Clim extrêmement bruyante, qui ne faisait pas de froid. La fenêtre ne s’ouvrant pas, nous avons laissé la porte de la chambre ouverte le temps que nous ne dormions pas. Une buanderie est présente : il a fallu attendre des heures et demandé à la personne qui avait pris possession de la laveuse, de bien vouloir enlever ses affaires. La sécheuse ne séchait pas. Le personnel le sait mais ils n’ont pas encore pris le temps de le changer. Le petit-déjeuner est une publicité mensongère. Un appareil à gaufre qui colle, un seul grille pain, quelques bagels, céréales et le dimanche, des œufs durs. Nous sommes bien loin des pommes de terre sautées, bacon, saucisse, fruits, jus … qu’indique l’établissement lors de la réservation. Les stocks étant certainement très limités, il a fallu relancer plusieurs fois le personnel pour qu’ils remettent un peu de nourriture et d’eau.

Room was very disgusting and not clean at all. There were stains on the comforters and children hand marks on the mirrors. The bathroom was full of soap scum. I really should have taken pictures of the place but I was so frustrated I couldn’t think straight .. I originally booked two days but only stayed one day and bought a new hotel else where, that’s how disgusting this place was. The staff was kind but the room was not worth the few dollars saved. I’ll never be booking her again.

Rooms were disgusting. Comforters had stains , mirrors full of finger and hand prints. Bathroom was not clean as well. I wish I took pictures to show. I stayed one night and left to book at another hotel because it was so disgusting.

The breakfast was continental only... No eggs, no danishes. #catfish

To be honest, this hotel is not what you think your gonna get... Straight Garbage... No hospitality what so ever. nothing to enjoy there. no guest sitting ares.. No pool access.. or towels. No quest amenities.. The rooms seems to be musty and gross.. my neighbors complaining of bed bugs...

Under the beds hadnt been cleaned in a long time obviously by the empty drink containers and the room wasnt stocked with extra toilet paper or cups for the coffee set up in the room
