The staff were friendly and explained everything well to us.

The window sills in our room were not cleaned and the curtains need a wash.

Nice location and the room was great. Easy to find and the view was just fantastic.

The restaurant was a bit under developed and food prices quite expensive.

The breakfast was excellant.

According to photos hotel was near the beach which is so not true. It is actually near the garage passing Plett. we were struggling to find the entrance so tucked away. No signs you just keep on driving to the end. We booked a couples massage and it turned out there was a spa but no staff. they hired one girl and had to go seperately. taking 2-3 hours off our day. The manager arranged flowers on my husbands request and was very helpful with that. Its a nice old school hotel, but location was unexpected.

Convenient location, large room, comfortable bed. Good shower. We both had a massage, that was excellent, but there is no spa as the name suggests. Buffet breakfast good.

Chaotic organisation. Restaurant lacked atmosphere and even when not busy took over an hour to make our two meals. Room and bathroom have no ventilation, and they recommend closing windows at night to keep baboons out. Pool area was untidy with towels left around, umbrellas not working.

This is a regular spot to stay when we're working in the area as it's right next to the N2 (but not too noisy) so convenient. You can't walk into Plett from here, you do really need a car to get around but the staff are helpful, the rooms clean and the breakfast good. We stayed in the villa rooms this time which looked as though they had recently been modernized - very comfortable and a large bathroom with a fabulous shower and separate bath but no sea view or balcony.

There always seem to be a staff shortage and the coffee machine wasn't working! On the last day, as there were no tour groups, there wasn't a buffet breakfast but platters that were individually prepared when you arrived for breakfast which took much longer.

The breakfast was Wow!!
