SECharmigt och fint gammalt hus. Rummen är nyrenoverade och sängen mycket bra. Värdarna Alec och Sophie var fantastiska och hjälpte till med allt de kunde. Väldigt bra frukost.
De som är allergiska mot pälsdjur bör känna till att det finns några katter i huset.
DEDie Inhaber sind sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Bett war sehr bequem. Die Lage ist gut, es ist ruhig, innerhalb weniger Minuten erreicht man zu Fuß viele Restaurants und Bars. Die Unterkunft liegt etwas auf dem Hügel, war kein Problem. Wir haben im Hof immer einen Parkplatz bekommen. Das Frühstück hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt, man kann zwischen verschiedenen Varianten wählen.
Es war im ganzen Haus für uns sehr kühl, die Heizung war ausgeschaltet/wurde nicht warm. Wir haben leider nichts gesagt, weil wir dachten, das sei so üblich. Haben bei den nachfolgenden Unterkünften festgestellt, daß die Heizungen auch im Mai noch funktionieren.

Car park is tight but a great facility in an area with little parking.
GBWe had a fantastic stay at The Shirley. Communication before our stay was excellent. We were notified that our room was ready early. On arrival we were greeted by a lovely couple who have created a lovely establishment. Breakfast was included along with free parking . Breakfast was pre order the night before with a great selection to choose from. Our room was nice too. A fridge with fresh milk and water. Nice toiletries available in the bathroom . One thing I liked was that all the bedding smelt really fresh and pleasant . We will definitely choose The Shirley again for our next visit to Torquay .
It is a bit of a walk back up a hill to get to the hotel . But the hill isn’t awful and very manageable.
