Avoncourt Lodge

The owners were lovely, friendly and helpful. It was clean, comfortable and the breakfast was superb. Short walk into Ilfracombe centre. Will definitely stay there again. Highly recommended!

We absolutely loved our long weekend here! The hosts and staff are lovely and all went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Breakfast was delicious, the bar was well stocked and the rooms are clean and comfortable. We will be back!! ☺️

The owner and Management were excellent and we were made extremely welcome. They went above and beyond expectations with making our stay perfect. We recommend that Avoncourt is definitely the place to stay in Ilfracombe. We would like to thank Loraine and Adriane for having us stay at their delightful B&B.

The breakfast was excellent. Service was very good. The breakfast room had been recently redone and was light & airy.

Only minor niggle was that you could hear the neighbouring rooms tv. Not sure if that was due to volume or just the particular joining wall, but wouldn’t put me off staying here again.

Driving in the town could be very difficult as roads are really narrow. Walking to the Harbour was easy. The owner is really helpful and accommodating.

The road to the property needs resurfacing.
