Sinai House

Generous breakfast. Stunning views. Comfortable mattress. Cosy room. Both Alison & Victor gave me a warm, friendly welcome. Victor cooked a gorgeous breakfast. Came to say a lovely good morning and was interested to know if I slept well and was enjoying the breakfast. Alison gave suggestions for walking. My choice to have breakfast after a change of plan, was gladly accommodated. Alison apologised for not being able to accommodate me for an extra night.

Nothing at all. Just a suggestion to perhaps have a sign or note somewhere (on the shower door maybe or in the guide) informing guests to pull the cord hanging between the shower and wardrobe before pressing the power button to turn on the electricity supply. I did not want to simply pull it, without knowing for sure why it was there. I of course did not want to damage or break anything or set off any alarms and annoy everyone for breaking the tranquility. Alison was patient and understanding and immediately sorted out my query.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Sinai House - Victor and Alison couldn't have been more welcoming, and nothing was too much trouble for them. Motorcyclists are welcome here, too, although access to the premises can be challenging - towards the top of a very steep, narrow road (see their website for further info). However, the views from the hotel and the welcome given made it well worth it!

Very poor water pressure in the shower is my only complaint, not ideal after walking all day.

Amazing hosts, food, and comfort. Alison and Victor made us feel at home. The b'fast presentation and taste was over the top as were their attention to details. The room was immaculate and bed comfortable. We intended to stay 1 night but decided to extend another day. We highly recommend Sinai House.

Alison was very pleasant and helpful. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Victor made a great breakfast. Really good choice and plenty of it. Location is good although on a steep, narrow road. Great place for a short break.
