Holiday Inn Express & Suites Akron Regional Airport Area by IHG

The staff was very friendly but the hotel was filthy and disgusting!

Stayed two nights. Staff was very nice and accommodating. Used the gym and protocol was excellent. You had to sign up for a certain time, limited to 2 and gym and equipment were clean and staff brought extra wipes if we needed them. Hotel was under renovation, but area we stayed in was great. All staff wearing masks and supporting social distancing. Good job Holiday Inn!

It was great, the only snafu was the room I specifically booked was not available, due to renovations, however the front desk person finally checked and out jacuzzi room wasn’t slated for Renovations until 4 days later even thought it had already been removed from availability. So she was able to work around the difficulty of booking through hotels.com and Holiday inn express reservations system and get us in our room.

Although the hotel was being remodeled and COVID restrictions were in place, everything was pretty good. The front desk folks were very good. Room was clean.

After a long trip and multiple delays into Akron we were greated by the best front desk receptionist. She was very empathetic to our situation and she took very good care of us. She helped us find a restaurant and gas station that were open on Christmas Day since had not had much to eat because we were stuck on airplanes and airports for almost 24 hours. The Continental breakfast was good and and excellent variety of food to pick from. Pretty good coffee as well. We will be booking our next room for our next trip to Akron.

Good experience. Had business in Niles but flew in & out of CAK. Good location ~10 min from CAK which is a great airport. It’s also located about 1/2 way between Canton & Akron. Was a little noisy w people coming in for the football game and a family with a bunch of kids was next to my room- so that was a bit annoying but overall it’s a good place. I’d stay there again.

When checking in the young man could of been welcoming and warm, he did not greet us we greeted him. Kim was very helpful when I called to confirm reservation and friendly.

Clean and comfortable. Good selection of breakfast food.
