"Fine for a basic stay, nothing really special"

On the good side, the hotel was clean, well-cared for, pleasant, and safe. With one notable exception (electric kettle) everything worked. The bed was comfortable and temperature was fine. There were plentiful electric outlets. Noise level was quiet. Staff were friendly and helpful in my few interactions. On the negative side, breakfast was very undistinguished. Even though I was getting it for free, I skipped it during most of my stay. Also, the electric kettle in my room did not work. The location was great for Band on the Wall where I was attending a festival related to The Fall. Otherwise, the immediate neighborhood was short on restaurants, stores and amenities.
