Crowne Plaza Manchester City Centre by IHG

I was there for the Manchester marathon, the location was brilliant with a lovely pasta restaurant opposite and easy links to the city and surrounding area.

At first when I went to my room, unfortunately the aircon was not working and the room was very hot. The staff were very helpful and immediately arranged for me to move to another room which did have working aircon so I was very pleased with this.

Excellent staff and hotel

Although in the process of being decorated, the hotel was clean and spacious with great staff.

Parking is a problem. The concessionary multi story is still £18 for 24hrs or if you use the car park directly opposite it’s £25 for 24hrs.

Great location, easy to find and a short walk from the car park we had booked. Room on 7th floor - great views and very spacious and good facilities. Toiletries included in bathroom. Breakfast was included in the rate - very good choice and tasty.

Shower cubicle was a bit too small. Plug sockets at ground level next to the bed. Had some difficulty plugging in but managed in the end - could be a little higher up, to make it easier for all plug types.

Central, lovely hotel great value for money.
