Welcoming, warm friendly staff who made us feel at home in this interesting, cosy, antique, well decorated guest house. Great breakfast to fill you up and we can highly recommend the evening food too. Nicely situated at the bottom of the cobbled main street that runs a few hundred yards up to the Parsonage Museum and church. Car Park very nearby that is owned by the pub and they only charged £3 per day.

good but you should not be paying for the parking....

We needed a place to stay when we travelled down from Scotland for a funeral and found The Registry by chance, and now lucky were we. It's old and quirky and full of antiques, but absolutely charming. The breakfast was superb, and we ate in their restaurant at night which was outstanding. I couldn't say a bad word about the place. The music they have playing in the restaurant is the best mix of music I have ever heard. How they came up with the mix they did, I have no idea but it was perfect. Loved the place.

The staff were absolutely lovely and the hotel was amazingly cosy and quirky! Xxx
