Wow. How nice the Hood Arms is. Warm arrival and service. Food really nice with a good amount of content. Breakfast amazing. 12 out of 10 from us.
Lovely freehouse pub with great food and comfortable accommodation. The staff were all extremely welcoming and well mannered. The ensuite bathroom, with freestanding bath and separate shower was spotless and looked like new. Our bed was enormous and very comfortable. The noise of motor vehicles passing outside our window disturbed our sleep a bit but that’s to be expected given that the hotel is on a main road - perhaps some secondary glazing would prevent this. All in all we really enjoyed our stay and would visit again. Thank you

Staff were all very friendly and efficient. We had a lovely welcome and were shown to our room which was cosy, clean and we wanted for nothing. Free WiFi in the room. We had a beautiful meal in the evening and a breakfast the next morning which set us up for a walk on the Quantox.
