The Thatched Cottage Inn

Room was very spacious well decorated, a comfortable bed, a comfortable sitting area nice and warm. The en suite was large with a separate shower and a bath, 2 wash basins and loo. The lighting throughout the suite was very good and we had a walk in wardrobe. The bar was nice and the food although pub fare was good as was the service. We would recommend this venue Wells Cathedral only 10 minutes drive away

Great location, plenty of parking and extensive evening menu. Choice of breakfast limited, but what we had was fine. (Sausages particularly good.) Comfortable night's sleep, but bathroom in need of some attention.

We found the hotel convenient and clean, nice staff but was really a pub with rooms rather than a hotel. Breakfast was excellent although we were placed on a table with visitors walking past constantly on their way to a function suite.

Lovely stay. We had a lovely room. There were a few small things in the bathroom that needed attention but this would not put us off staying again. The food was excellent in the evening and also breakfast. The staff were very friendly and we would definitely stay here again.

Big rooms but no internet in them TV to low can see it when in bed lovely food

This Inn could be good. It is clear it has seen better days but now, it appeared to us, to be in marked decline. It appeared to be running on the minimum in all respects. We wondered whether it was in the process of being sold, or otherwise disposed of.

Easy to find pub, wellcoming staff , nice clean room and bathroom , great cider bar staff friendly.

We were made to feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The room was very comfortable and the bathroom well equipped. Meals were excellent and we were spoilt for choice every evening.
