Beds too small for tall ppl but it was possible to change rooms.

Nice, was looking forward to a cooked breakfast, understand the circumstances re staff at the moment.

Breakfast was great, Hotel in downtown Amesbury near Stonehenge.

The room was clean and the beds comfortable. Simple but adequate complimentary breakfast.

It was far too cold. The window had been left open, and the radiator was switched off when we arrived at 4:30pm. The temperature was only 7 degrees. (it was 3-4 degrees outdoors). We switched on the radiator and went to a local pub to get warm - it was too cold to stay in the room. By 9:30 the room still hadn't heated to an acceptable temperature (normally we find B&B rooms too warm). I messaged the owner and had a reply at 10:30 offering a room change but it was too late by then. The temperature was just about OK by the middle of the night, but the bathroom was still cold in the morning (too cold for a relaxing shower) even though the towel rail had been on overnight.

Noisy waterworks kept us awake all night Uncomfortable bed, broken light in the room, tv not working, and bad electrical fitments. The photos on booking.com did not match my experience of this establishment.

Great location

Location and free parking. The key code system was handy for late arrivals.

On arrival there was a guy smoking at the side of the door, who came in after me. There was clear smell of a joint in the air. He had the door code, and went down a side corridor. Other than him it was like a ghost town. The room was cold, so much so I had to add an extra shawl to the duvet plus throw. It took ages to warm up even after I put on socks and a t-shirt over PJs. I had to have the radiator on all night, which caused extra dust in the air. I think an additional lock on the bedroom door would have made me feel safer also. I only saw 1 staff member in the morning who was doing room changes.
