Park House Hotel

room was very old and very tired. Clean and comfy bed. Check in staff good and later found a heater for me as it was very cold. I was not in the hotel as I had expected. I was situated in a cottage which had 4 separate rooms in it. Breakfast was good and plentiful with excellent friendly obliging staff. orange juice a cheap variety however choose of fruit and cereal and lovely bread to toast. Full breakfast cooked available. Tea and coffee machine help your self style.

My room was very dark and some wasted space. Cold water tap either did not Coe on or give you a shower then difficult to turn off. Bed very large and very clean and very comfortable. Lack of Wifi for my stay was difficult as I had hoped to work for in hour in the morning. TV unavailable for a couple of early hours in the morning. It come on again about 8 am. Didn't like the entrance it s a long way from the picture you display on the site. That beautiful premises and garden is still there however not part of my stay. I had to park around the back and the building was very different to the one displayed

The Internet wasn't working, and signal for mobile Internet is rubbish... So cudnt do no work...

Comfortable clean room, and a nice welcome on arrival. Had everything I needed.

Room is dated (22) and went very round the houses to get to it when it was at the top of a set of stairs to the bar. Bathroom very old fashioned could do with new taps, and toilet seat was barely attached to the toilet. I ate in the bar and ordered a falafel salad which was possibly the worst prepared salad I have ever had. Overcooked dark brown falafel and a gem lettuce pretty much cut in half with very large chunks of tomato and cucumber. Poor presentation, no dressing other than the included hummus (despite it stating there was a chilli dressing), sad to look at and equally uninspiring to eat. It could easily have been presented so much better. Asked for dressing and given honey mustard which luckily I like, but even that couldn't save it, and as the lettuce had been barely cut I was worried it may not have been washed.

Home away from home, great staff and fantastic food

Easily accessed and great parking. Room amazing, food exceptional and staff a joy.
