Hosts were lovely, very friendly and helpful. Nothing too much to ask. Breakfast quality was excellent, great service and plenty choice. Also, lovely bright dining room. Location was just off seafront so no seagull noise, or early morning trams or bus noise. Very peaceful and quiet at night. Tram stop 1 min away. Room was bright and clean. Parking on street outside hotel, no cost. About 15 mins walk into town, Tower etc. It is also great value for money. We would’ve paid more for our room and would happily stay here again, no problem!

The lovely couple who greeted me on arrival were so friendly and helpful, great to talk to, and nothing was too much trouble. The dining room area where breakfast is served is quaint and certainly the best feature of this 3 star hotel. The breakfast was superb, with plenty of options to choose from including all the cereals available. The hot English Breakfast was all cooked to order not sat under lighting going cold like some places I've stayed at. The Poached eggs were perfect, and as much tea and toast or coffee you could drink. Excellent service, quick and efficient with very friendly staff. You are given a key to your room andan electronic fob for the main entrance door so easy access anytime day ir night. Thank you. 👍

The room I stayed in had a slight musty smell when I first walked in, and looking at the ceiling it was obvious that at some time there had been some slight damp issues. But I know the owners are aware of all this and have plans to do some extensive refurbishments during the close season. I wish the owners every success with that. The en suite was a bit small with everything in a compact space, but I had no problems using the facilities. The settings on the toilet cistern could do with adjusting because after flushing it didn't fill up enough to provide enough water for a proper flush. TV and Tea and Coffee making facilities in the room were excellent. The mattress on the bed was too soft for my liking, but that's just because I'm used to sleeping on a very hard mattress at home. But I had a good night's sleep.

My daughter and l came to stay Mon-Fri for a few days for her birthday to do stuff in Blackpool - Water park, Zoo, illuminations, Pleasure beach etc. The hotel location was ideal. Far enough from the hustle and noise of central and south shore but not miles away, 15-30min walk plus there's a tram stop literally at the bottom of the street. Free on street car parking outside and North train station only 5mins away. Nice clean hotel, breakfast was lovely! My compliments to the chef/cook! The couple that run the place are lovely very hardworking, friendly and happy to help however they can. Pleasantly surprised on arrival too as l had booked a double for us but we ended up in a family room (17) so daughter claimed the single bed and l had the double to myself. (Bonus! If you've ever slept with young kids in your bed you know how much they fidget and move around!) Both comfy beds too. We had a view of the tower changing colour from the bay window on an evening in the dark which she was delighted about! :0)

My only gripe was the water pressure in the room wasn't the greatest. Myself and my daughter have long, thick hair and it took a lot longer than normal in the shower to get it washed. Not necessarily a fault of the hotel, perhaps we're just lucky back home as ours is strong.
