We stayed for 5 days to meet cornwall. Penzance itself was a mixture of quaint and touristy but drive out to million cove or porthleven and the real beauty of cornwall is seen scenically. The people were lovely everywhere we went and rightly proud of their Cornish heritage. I fell in love with cornwall and will definitely go back .
Nice place to stay, well located, good hosts, parking a bit tight (best if you don't have a car), we would stay there again if in the area
I............guest house . Delicious fish and a fabulous cheese selection. Full English looked fine too.
We had a wonderful time at this B&B. It is a short taxi ride (or walk) to the central bus hub and rail station which are co-located near the sea front. The hosts, Simon and Susan, are great. Breakfasts are first rate. Room and amenities are excellent. It is an older structure and some settling has occurred, but in the overall scheme of B&B's that issue is, really, minor.
Sue and Simon couldn,t do enough for you, from advice on where to go and what to see to the best local eateries.The house and room was immaculate,the breakfasts were plentiful and well cooked and presented, We would certainly go back again.
I stayed at Camilla House for three nights. It is a beautiful house in a very central location. The rooms were spotlessly clean and I appreciated the extra touches in the room - sweets, biscuits, bottled water, cotton wool... The breakfasts are exceptionally good and cater for every diet. The owners are so welcoming and are extremely knowledgeable about the local area. All in all, it was a five star experience! I cannot recommend Camilla House highly enough.
In addition to the lovely room and breakfast, I really appreciated all of the additional personal touches the guest house offered (eg would loan bikes, make picnic hamper etc)

Just spent a very pleasant few days at Camilla House.The owners,Simon and Susan,are attentive hosts,willing to offer helpful tips for local restaurants,pubs and sights.The breakfasts really set you up for the day-the cornish cheeses are especially good-and the choice is matched by the quality. The rooms have fantastic views and are nicely decorated,clean and bathrooms modern.Wouldnt hesitate to recommend!
