Camilla House Garden Flat

A spur of the moment short break. Received a warm welcome from Fee, with practical advice on where to eat and where to go. Single room was comfortable with a very well appointed private bathroom on the next floor.

We were very warmly welcomed by the owner who offered us drinks and information on arrival. Our room was lovely, immaculate and furnished to a high standard, the room came with a lovely sea view. The hosting throughout was excellent and it felt more like someone's home than a hotel, very personable. The breakfasts we had each morning were all excellent, high quality ingredients and good portion sizes. Overall we would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area, thanks for a lovely stay.

My wife and I stayed at the Camilla House for three days. Everything is great! The room is large enough for couples. It is very clean and warm and the bathroom is also well equipped. So it serves as a nice and comfortable base for our trip. As for the breakfast, Fee (the host at Camilla) makes some really nice food... Absolutely love it. Fee is also very friendly, humorous, and gives us a lot of information for our trip to Minack theatre, Land's end, etc. Following her advice we decided to take a walk along the coast and the view is just magnificent... Fee points out some nice places to eat at Penzance... Unfortunately we didn't have time to try them all. We really enjoyed our time at Camilla.

The owner Fiona made our stay so special. She is very friendly & helpful with the local places to see & visit as well as restaurants that a close by that she recommends. He house is the perfect place to stay while in Penzance. We stayed 6 nights & loved it.

Great place with great host and tried really hard to look after things and great breakfast

My partner grew up in Cornwall. We both were happy with this location as a home base to explore the area. Camilla House has parking reserved in front of the B&B. "Fee" was a helpful and friendly hostess, and the breakfasts were good. She gave us some great recommendations for dinner in Penzance. We had a beautiful front room overlooking the moon-lit water.

Greeted by the proprietor Fee, we couldn't have been made more welcome. Nothing seems to be a trouble and she takes plenty of time to point you in the right direction for attractions, pubs and restaurants. Both our room and ensuite bathroom had been recently renovated with quality fittings. Penzance and surrounds were a great experience

it was an amazing place! Fee was helpful and friendly! Best eggs Benedict ever and Fee was nice enough to send me home with the recipe! The only thing that was a problem is my Dad is 6 foot 3 , so the bed was too short. Fee said she ordered one that was bigger and it should be there soon.

We spent 3 nights at Camilla House, and even with the good reviews we were pleasantly surprised at how welcoming and relaxing our stay was. I can't think of a single negative to say! The location was about as good as you could ask for! Just a 10min walk along the front to the bus and train station, and less than that into the town centre, and a great base for exploring the surrounding area. Would definitely go back!

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome. The guesthouse itself is beautifully decorated and feels very clean and homely. In fact, so homely that my wife almost went downstairs for breakfast in her pyjamas. The location was perfect, very close to the seafront with ocean views. Would highly recommend and will certainly be back.
