"Excellent B&B, great location, helpful staff "

10.0

I booked my stay at Camilla House at the last minute (as a solo traveller) and didn't have much time to research the area. Fortunately, the B&B was easy to find and is very accessible via walking from the train/bus station and there is spacing for about 5 cars if you are driving. If you want to venture outside of Penzance, it is very easy to do so as the bus/train station is close by and you can get to St. Ives, Mousehole and other parts of Cornwall very easily. The buses run fairly frequently, and there are also a great number of nearby pubs and restaurants so if you do not want to venture too far on your travel days there are many options. The new owner, Fee, is very helpful with information and very personable. The breakfast was very good, made to order, and the furnishings of the room and surroundings were lovely. It is a very nice getaway for solo travelers and couples. I would definitely stay at Camilla House again and highly recommend it.

"Good and not so good"

6.0

b&B is under new management and they are still learning the trade. High potential for success, but there are still a few rough edges. Use of shredder for toilet waste is eco-friendly except that it started every now and then during the night, woke us up often. Problem will be fixed. I still recommend a stay, we had a few issues, but nothing serious.

Lovely three night stay. Tasty breakfasts. Parking is a bit tricky but everyone cooperated. Room did get warm, a fan would have been appreciated.

"Nice place to stay in Pemzance"

8.0

Vert nice stay at Camilla house with lots of advice from the owner on place to eat and to see. The room for 1 is a bit tiny but good enough to explore the surrounding areas.

"Very attractive, small, georgian hotel"

10.0

Had an excellent 3 day stay in a very comfortable twin room with window seat giving a lovely sea view. Everything very good quality. Be prepared to drive along a narrow lane to get to the hotel but it is such a pretty row of georgian houses, it's all part of the charm. And being off any main road it's peaceful. Bit of a jigsaw to fit everyone's cars onto the small parking area but there was always room and, hey, leave your key with the owner and she'll move your car if necessary. A most enjoyable stay and I would love to go back there.

"Stay at camilla "

6.0

Room very small to amount of furniture in it. Room floor very uneven at one side making Bed also uneven. Shower gel was not replenished during stay. Back bedroom very noisy all night due to seagulls nesting on roofs nearby. Rooms very clean.

"Convenient location"

10.0

Fee and Carru most welcoming and extremely helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and we wouldn't hesitate to stay there again or recommend to friends/family. Guest House very conveniently located for train/bus station and local restaurants so didn't have to use car all the time. All in all we had a really lovely few days in a beautiful part of the country and hope to go back sometime in the future.
