As a lone traveller attending an event the Balmoral was perfect! The ensuite room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was excellent and the hosts were very friendly and helpful.

Excellent breakfast! Clean room with kettle and nice towels. Lovely location on the seafront. Hosts are excellent - family run business who care about their customers! Had a sea view room and sunsets are spectacular.

Little room fridge would be handy and a fan in hot weather, not essentials but nice to have. Parking was a bit harder as my stay was in August so a busy time in the town but I did find a space a little further away.

The owners Viv and Carl were very helpful and pleasant Viv gave us lots of information about where to go to eat and what to do the breakfast was the best full English ever the hotel was spotless
