Hotel Nineteen

Excellent self check-in. Modern and very clean room with nice touches such as complimentary snack, bathrobe, aircon and alarm clock. Shower was clean with good pressure and temperature.

The room was lovely, very clean, and everything I could have wanted. It would have been nice to have a bottle of still water to make a cup of tea or coffee in the morning. Everything else was there to make a drink. I liked the touches of a couple of snacks along with the usual tea and coffee sachets. The hotel is very close to the pier it was an ideal location.

I arrived and found two locals who lived across the road sitting on the steps. They did move when I arrived, and they said they lived opposite. Other properties surrounding were very shabby and with the neighbours, didn't give a good first impression. There is no reception, but I think this is common for the area. Once inside the building, it is very modern, very clean, and I was happy staying for one night. I paid for a parking permit, the area to park is vast, but it's also hilly. I couldn't park outside the hotel, and I felt for a lady travelling solo, it was not ideal.

Noise from nearby pub and other residents. Appreciate it was a bank holiday weekend but even when using the complimentary ear plugs, we were woken by other people in the hotel. Especially those in the room above.
