This is a lovely B&B in a great location. Rooms are all individual and cosy. Only complaint is in one of our rooms the shower temp could not be regulated. It was stuck on scalding and was not repaired while we were there but overall a place we would return to. Breakfasts were really tasty

Breakfast room is a lovely area decorated in the period chamr of the main house. The location was perfect for our planned venues and the Town is very nice iwth good pubs/restaurants and shops.

The only gripe was my daughter stayed in Room 5 (Family Room) and it was hot and struggled to reach the windows to allow ventilation. Also the Cot my other daughter used in Room 8 had a very hard base but we should have asked for help with that as I am sure this would have been solved.

If you, like me, arrived at the property after hours (ie after all the staff have left in the morning) check your email or messages for the access code to enter the premises. I’d arrived just before 5.00pm on a Wednesday, pressed the door bell, and waited for a while but no response. Then I had to login to my account to check emails and messages. The access code was sent to me on the day of arrival. I had a courtyard room on the ground floor, with a view out to the car park. The room itself was a bit tight for my luggage bag. It was clean, a comfortable bed, came with all the usual amenities, generous wardrobe space and a working Wifi. The shower room has a skylight which brought in lots of natural light. From the Old Brewhouse there’s a self service laundromat about 600m away. The Parish Church and Market Place are all close by. It’s a very walkable town. I had two breakfasts in the dining room. Staff were friendly and helpful. I liked the poached egg wrapped with smoked salmon. The beautifully landscaped courtyard was a great delight especially when the flowers were blooming. I had a relaxing and enjoyable stay at the Old Brewhouse.

Ce séjour à été des plus agréable pour notre famille. Le logement et les services ont été à la hauteur de nos souhaits.

Great location, comfortable clean room, excellent breakfast served by great staff. Quiet at night. Lovely little garden.

A bit pricey, but then bank holiday accommodation in August anywhere is a bit pricey

Excellent location, just a few minutes walk from the town centre. It has its own car park, so that felt safer. The breakfast was simply excellent with delicious sausages and bacon.

Neither of us slept well, although the beds were comfortable, and we couldn't figure out why not.

Breakfast was really delicious. Fresh food with top quality ingredients. Whole place delightful. Lovely courtyard garden with many beautiful flowers. Parking space. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Everything was good.
