Amazing room with a balcony. Really clean, lovely breakfast and friendly welcome.

Very much a B&B rather than a hotel so no bar etc. Not a problem for us but as an old pub we thought it might have that.

Breakfast was great! We were wishing that we had a map of the town. We had trouble finding the parking area. The sign could have been bigger.

The sign with Hotel name was not very visible. Would like to have had a map and some brochures

The breakfast was really superb; excellent full-English but lots of other choices too. The property has a lovely patio-garden space to relax in. The staff were friendly and helpful.

As a smoker, it would have been nice to sit in the garden to smoke but there are 'no smoking' signs, so I was forced to go outside the entry gate and smoke on the roadside. Others will see this as a positive, I suppose.

Beautiful courtyard garden, quirky old building. Excellent breakfast and helpful staff.

Our room was on the top floor - small room with limited headroom and a chest high beam at the bottom of the bed making moving around the room a challenge. Rooms on the lower floors looked a lot better. I thought it was expensive.
