Louise the owner was very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast quality and options was very good, particularly for a guest house. Room was clean and well stocked with tea, coffee etc and everything you’re likely to need.

Nothing to dislike, parking on street is free but available but spaces may be limited close to the property. We did managed to park a few metres away. However the whole street is free of parking restrictions so spaces should be available.

We had a wonderful stay at Anton Guest House and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Shrewsbury. From the moment we arrived, Louise made us feel incredibly welcome. The facilities were excellent, with everything we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Our room was spotless, well-equipped, and very comfortable. Breakfast was a real highlight, with a great selection of excellent options to suit all tastes, all freshly prepared to a high standard. The home-baked cakes were a lovely touch and really added to the overall experience! The location has good local amenities including a corner shop and pub within a few minutes walk and is a fifteen minute walk from Shrewsbury town centre. All in all, a fantastic stay. We wouldn’t hesitate to return and would certainly recommend it to others.

Louise made us very welcome when we arrived, homemade cake and very helpful with ideas of where to eat in the Town. The Guest House is ideally situated just a short 10 minute walk into the centre along the English Bridge.

Nothing perfect for our short stay

Freshly made, very tasty and abundant breakfast. Snacks and freshly baked cakes available all day in the dining room. Comfortable bedroom with everything needed for a short stay. Although the room faced a noisy main road, we slept very well. Free on-demand TV, which is unusual. Staff were friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome.

Louise was very welcoming and gave some super advice on places to see and places to eat. The room was very quiet and comfortable with facilities for hot drinks and TV with Netflix. The bathroom was very clean and the shower good. Breakfast was superb, I had the full English both mornings but there was a wide variety of options on the menu and also cake available if you fancied it. Thank you for making me feel at home.

Anton Guest house is a great place to stay.The host had thought of everything we might need.Breakfast menu was amazing and delicious.Would definitely recommend.
