Bridge House Hotel

Last minute booking as a family of four. The lovely Emma-Jayne handled the booking over the phone - she was Ben offered to try and keep the kitchen open for a little longer for us to have Sunday lunch. We arrived a little later than service but it looked amazing. The room was spotless, the staff friendly and attentive and location for town, sea etc perfect. The breakfast was superb with a great choice of options. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Good food. Good service. Good location. Lots of different areas to dine in. The garden level restaurant was quite draughty on a winter’s evening and wouldn’t be suitable for access for anyone with mobility problems.

Very comfortable with nice personal touches, design was eclectic.

Would have liked an earlier breakfast as I had an early start

The Bridge House in Bridport offers a lovely atmosphere. The setting is charming and welcoming and the staff are consistently kind, attentive, and always available to help, which makes the whole stay even more pleasant. The pub restaurant serves very good, high-quality food, well-prepared and full of flavour. Breakfast, freshly cooked to order, was delicious and beautifully presented, a perfect way to start the day. Our room on the upper floor was on the smaller side, as was the bathroom, but it was cozy and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Despite the compact space, nothing essential was missing. A particularly convenient feature is the private parking available for B&B guests, a real advantage and very practical when staying in town. Overall, The Bridge House is a welcoming and reliable choice in Bridport, combining good food, friendly service, and a comfortable stay.

Breakfast

This hotel is beautifully decorated stylish and homely and the staff were wonderful. This stay felt like a real treat. My evening meal was delicious and by far the best meal I have eaten in ages. The room was very well appointed and it felt like every need was anticipated and met, top marks for thinking of oat milk and hair conditioner. I will definitely be back.

Our time at The Bridge House was delightful from start to finish. We made several changes to our booking and dinner reservation and they were always helpful and flexible to our needs. The welcome was friendly, our dinner and breakfast were excellent and the room was above our expectations. Thank you so much, we will stay again if we are in the area and need somewhere to stay !
