A lovely hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very nice food. Nice to have a bar. Cosy atmosphere . Quirky decor.

Our room was a little too small for a 5 night stay.

"We had a very enjoyable and relaxing long weekend"

Excellent staff who were willing to go the extra yard to ensure that guests’ requirements were met. The Dorset breakfast was magnificent, but once the continental breakfast items were eaten they were not replenished. Great location for exploring Bridport and the surrounding area.

The room was described as snug - a perfect description. Accessing the room up 4 short flights of steep stairs was a challenge on occasions for 77 year olds.

The most delicious Mother’s Day Brunch served in the cosy cellar bar. Service and food beyond excellent. Warmest of welcomes from Emma-Jayne and her wonderful team. Can’t wait to return to try the dinner menu!! Thank you for making our Mother’s Day visit truly memorable and totally perfect.

"Wow a gem in Bridport"

What a wonderful family hotel and restaurant run by Emma-Jayne and Michel. The rooms are lovely and very comfortable and the food and service is 5* with both evening meals and breakfast having a great choice all exquisitely cooked and very generous. The whole team are so welcoming and friendly both in the funky cellar bar where we tasted the best raspberry mojitos and in the upstairs dining areas where we we were looked after so well including our dog Rafi who was given his own bed and snacks at the table as well as in our bedroom. This is our 4th visit for food and drinks and our first time staying so we will now be regulars as everything about the Bridge House I love.
