"Lovely hotel with superb food"

Arrived as soaking wet and freezing backpackers walking The Monarch's Way, so I'm mentioning the stuff that's important to us. The Bridge House is a lovely place with a very warm welcome and excellent food. Located on the main street. Body lotion and conditioner in the bathroom. Very comfortable bed. Dinner and breakfast were perfect with an imaginative chef - very special. Next time we'll bring some nice clothes...!

The Bridge House is a lovely old building and we had an attic room. I don't usually book these as my husband's tall; also our room had a bath with a hand shower and restricted headroom. If this is important to you please check with the hotel directly as Booking dot com don't always explain this kind of thing. But that bath was so welcome that day!

"No EV charging as advertised"

We booked this hotel specifically because it said on its Hotels.com page that it had EV charging and car park. Turns out they no longer have any EV charging and when we arrived at 3.30pm the car park was full and we had to take the car down the road to a public pay car park. Hence I have to give it a poor rating, very disappointed/annoyed. It would not unfair though not to mention the excellent breakfast.

"Another great stay!"

Another few days in Bridport at the Bridge House - really great place to stay. Clean, welcoming, lovely decor in bedrooms, great food (thank you chef Michal), really friendly host (Emma-Jayne with her fantastic team). The only place to stay in Bridport & area, looking forward already to our next visit.

Fantastic cosy hotel. Lovely atmosphere and room. Good parking. Tasty breakfast.

Nothing really. Would have preferred a shower to a bath but not a big issue.

I liked everything about my stay at the Bridge House Hotel and will returning to stay there again. The room was fabulous the bed very comfortable. The Sunday lunch was one of the best I've ever had. The breakfast was fabulous and the staff very friendly and helpful. I've stayed in 4 different places in Bridport I wish I found this place first. I wouldn't have stayed anywhere else.
