"A delightful hotel stay"

A wonderful two night stay in this lovely friendly hotel. Everything you need has been thought of and particularly nice touches like fresh milk for your room tray. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfasts were in a league of their own! The hotel was delightfully quirky, clean and good value for money.

"Beautifully furnished rooms, super breakfast"

This is a great place to stay, for so many reasons. The hotel and rooms have character, they are beautifully furnished and the beds are very comfortable. The room was much better than I expected, with loads of super toiletries, tea/coffee etc, and we had a leather sofa, so I could sit in comfort and read my book. . All the staff were welcoming, friendly and efficient and the choice of cooked breakfasts was high-quality food, presented very well. It's the best place we have stayed in for years, and we were very impressed

"Beautiful Hotel perfectly located with wonderful staff"

Wonderful hotel, perfectly located for exploring the Jurassic coast. Old and quite quirky building beautifully decorated was a pleasant change from the often bland and corporate hotels chains. Whole place immaculately clean. Staff were absolutely wonderful – nothing too much trouble(the owner even sat up on Sunday night and served drinks for us after the bar had closed). Always a warm and genuine welcome. Ate in the Restaurant one evening and the food was great; interesting menu, delicious well presented food and good value. Breakfasts included with the room were varied, tasty and well prepared. No reason but to give 10 out of 10. Thank you for a lovely bank holiday weekend.🙏

Good location close to town centre. Excellent Staff; friendly and professional. Room very good. Dog friendly. Food excellent.

Car parking in car park not guaranteed and not easy to manoeuvre. Limited parking on road outside. Room facing main road.
