"An excellent choice of stay"

Lucked in to begin with the last available slot for parking on site. Great welcome on check-in. The en-suite room, albeit on the top floor ( 3 flights, no lift) was outstanding with everything provided including floor standing fans. Beautifully appointed and so well presented. Then the evening - we repaired to the delightful Cellar bar where the barman, Ashley, greeted us in an unpretentious manner and provided the perfect service. Then the meal? - well, all I can say is that we had one of the most delicious dinners one can imagine. The menu was amazing in the choices open to us; I went for the duck and my wife, the Homity pie; the presentation was superb, the vegetables cooked perfectly - everything to perfection and made for a perfect pre concert dinner. Ashley even promised us he’d remain open for our post-show return!! Breakfast had a superb choice available with all the extra little touches that make such a delightful difference. All in all a thoroughly recommended hostelry to which we have no hesitation in wishing to return.

"Evening meal in the classy restaurant."

My wife and I had a meal in the bridge house hotel restaurant and it was fantastic. The decor and surroundings are pristine. The staff were very polite and attentive throughout our meal which was superb. The quality and portion size was excellent and very well presented. The cost is very competitive with other similar venues. This will Not be our last visit! Thank you so much.

Location, main facilities (reception, dining room), breakfast. Host at breakfast lovely.

Room was small and very hot. Bed was small and not comfortable - poor nights sleep both nights. Woman at check in a bit distracted and not knowledgeable about the local area.
