Lovely location , great food too !

Nothing to dislike

The location was great, cooked breakfast was lovely and the staff were very friendly

I was told less than a week before that the hotel was hosting a beer festival, i looked for other accommodation in the area as i had to be up early both days and didn’t want the noise but nothing was available and the room was non cancelable:m/ refundable. The room was in need of a facelift, the shower door was off the rail and kept falling in, towel rail fell off the wall, the shower took an age to get even lukewarm warm, breakfast was supposed to be from 7:30 but no one was around until just gone 8am, dinner was not available on the Saturday night because a beer festival was on. I did t manage to sleep well because my room was overlooking the festival and stage.

Room was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast in the morning was lovely. We visited on motorbikes and were offered a secluded place to park them for the night. Lovely quiet location.
