Staff are fabulous; the place is wonderful; it is great value for money, and best of all, they love dogs!

They really need to get better coffee :-(

"A great place from which to explore the lake district."

Lovely building, in an idyllic spot. Safe parking for my old Mercedes and a great stopping off place on my journey from down south to up north. Lively bar, and I had a lovely dinner and breakfast.

Great location, can walk from hotel to many great walks. Room was small but cosy and bathroom was very good. Staff friendly and good check in.

All staff need to be trained on pouring beer especially Guinness very minor but makes the difference to a stay.
