Everything. Typical old Lakeland hotel from outside so can look worse for wear like they all do but the rooms are lovely and the staff great. It's obviously being renovated in stages but that's to its credit. I've stayed twice now and will stay again next time if available. Beautiful location also. Easy access to A66 and from Kirkstone Pass.

The room was great, the food was great, and the staff were lovely.

A more flexible bedding arrangement would be great. I had to remove the duvet inner and use just the duvet cover, since it was a warm day and the room was hot. No big deal though.
